Dependence on your husband’s opinion. A lesson from Venice!
Clients regularly come to me with a problem like dependence on their husband’s opinion in marriage. You want complete unity and agreement! But the husband either criticises, or makes fun, or simply does not understand. And then the woman starts doubting herself — maybe I really am wrong? Maybe this is not right, maybe I do not need it? Or else she tries with all her strength to bring her husband round to her side.
The secret is that a complete double of you simply does not exist in nature! There are normal stages in the development of a relationship, which I explain to some of my coaching clients. So how do you stay in a good relationship and confident in yourself even when your husband disagrees with you about something?
