I took a step towards a happy relationship
Елена
Good afternoon, Inna! Thank you for what you do! After talking with you things changed for the better — my former fiancé and I stopped being in touch, as if it had been cut off. I saw myself from the outside with another man and saw that it is with Him that I am happy. I was amazed; the vision was so real that no doubt was left. Like a weight off my shoulders. I am now seeing a new man, so far as friends, but he feels so close in spirit)
The most important thing in the coaching process for me turned out to be that the answers do not come from some clever person outside, but from me
Екатерина, многодетная мама
My name is Katya, and I am the mother of three pre-schoolers, the youngest of whom will soon be two. After my last delivery I sank into a kind of grey state of hopelessness, apathy and a feeling that my life was not needed. I tried to keep afloat, I even got as far as a psychologist a couple of times, there were various other things besides the housework, but in the overall feeling nothing changed; it seemed that “everything I do is nonsense — other people are active and doing things with their lives, while I merely exist”. There was a lot of irritation in my life; my home irritated me, my children, my husband, and most of all myself.
And it was out of that pit that I grabbed at coaching with Inna as at a last thread. Why did I choose her in particular? Because for the last few years I have been reading her blog closely, and I noticed how much she herself and her life had changed. It seemed like magic, an unreal transformation. And when I set my goals for the 3-month coaching, I thought they were unlikely to come true. The goals were these — I wanted to find work I loved that was still compatible with the family, to do it joyfully, and to carry the children along with me.
The most important thing in the coaching process for me turned out to be that the answers do not come from some clever person outside, but from me. The coach asks the right questions, gives direction, supports you and gives feedback on what is happening to you. That was exactly what I had been missing.
The feeling of being “a flimsy little boat in a raging ocean” has now retreated. I simply take the next step, enjoy it, and am curious to see where it leads. And if despair comes down on me again like a concrete slab, I calmly drive it away; effective methods appeared as soon as I wanted them to. And, most importantly, I have finally begun to understand what it means to love yourself…
I learned to love life and myself more, and to be closer to God and to those around me
Павел, заведующий лабораторией анализа разработки нефтяных месторождений
Before coaching with Inna Shukshina I had read many books on psychology and been to many psychologists and psychotherapists, some of whom held academic degrees. But I never got any particular or worthwhile result. It was Inna’s approach to helping her clients that I liked most of all. I learned to love life and myself more, and to be closer to God and to those around me. She taught me not to feel that oppressive guilt which brings despondency and hopelessness to the soul, when you do not want to do anything and only feel sorry for yourself. In that kind of negative state you usually give up and lose all your strength. Instead of that feeling, more and more I have that joyful sense of responsibility, when I feel that I am managing to control the situation and that I can change it for the better. And if something does not work out, I no longer get the usual pangs of conscience and despondency — everything is the same as before — but instead there is hope that next time it will work!
I stopped feeling that I was at the centre of a catastrophe
Анастасия Резниченко (многодетная мать, 9 лет в браке)
Inna and I talked about my relationship with my husband. I was going through a very difficult period, a lot of resentment had built up, I wanted to be pitied. I had absolutely no strength to start changing anything myself. We talked on Skype, and after the conversation with Inna I felt enormous relief. First of all, I was listened to, I was sympathised with, and my problem was treated with tact. I did not hear a single word of judgement about my husband, which would have hurt me badly at that moment. And most importantly — before the conversation everything in my head was very confused, emotions, feelings and thoughts about who was to blame and what to do next all piled up together. Inna helped me put it all in order. Another effect was that this conversation somehow made what was happening feel less dramatic. I stopped feeling that I was at the centre of a catastrophe. Just a situation, just a problem that happens to everyone and that I can solve. Thank you!
In a few consultations a dead end turned into a clear path
Иван Шукшин (программист, IT-консультант)
If you are stuck because of problems with work or business
It was a pleasure to deal with Inna as a consultant. She treats another person’s problems with respect, and there is no awkwardness in talking to her, no feeling that I will somehow be unpleasantly hurt — a very attentive and correct specialist. She listens carefully and goes into all the fine details, both of problems in family relationships and relationships with employees, and of problems of professional growth.
She suggests solutions which take some effort (it seems there is no way to solve anything without it), but which lead to the situation shifting and starting to improve. She helps you look at things from a completely different angle. I liked the fact that her solutions do not vanish into thin air but work and help. After the first consultation I could not find a way out of a problem situation that was troubling me greatly, but over several consultations the dead end turned into a clear path. I recommend her to anyone who is stuck because of problems at work.
