“I seemed to open up to a flow of communication and mutual help” — a client’s result
Women often write to me who are unsure of their abilities, who have many plans and goals but keep putting them off, who are afraid of making a mistake, of making the wrong choice. And at times they doubt altogether whether they should start at all. Maybe my feelings and plans are not that important? Maybe I made it all up myself?
And in order to finally start moving forward, towards a new life, it is simply essential to learn to make sense of your feelings and to understand your own needs. And here is an example of a result from a client in the coaching group that I run together with coach Katerina Lapshina:
Olga K. is not only a talented child psychiatrist and psychotherapist, but also a mother of many children, with a dream of her own personal project, big plans for the future and big goals. But despite an already settled, comfortable life, all her talents and achievements, Olga lacked the support and motivation to finally start acting and realise all her ideas, to learn to find time for herself. She came to us in dejection and apathy, nothing made her glad, there was a feeling that she was not managing anything and had no time for anything. And here are the wonderful changes that took place in her life in just 2 months of going through the step-by-step programme on developing love for yourself and on women’s self-realisation, the programme I take clients through in personal and group coaching. The miracle for Olga was that she studied with us while being distracted by a small child, doing only half of the assignments; she catastrophically lacked time for the sessions, but despite this, the results exceeded all her expectations, and I think her results will be an example and an inspiration for many women who are only just beginning to think about their personal plans and about what they really want.
“Inna and Katerina, God save you! Looking at you, I became more confident in my professional abilities and started doing psychotherapy over Skype. There were always people who needed my help not only as a psychiatrist, but also as a psychotherapist. Now that I have started doing psychotherapy, people come to me more often and in greater numbers. I seemed to open up to a flow of communication and mutual help, which before that I had been holding back hard because of my own fears and lack of confidence.
I have become more open to the world and to people, and trust them more. I show my positive feelings more and more often. I have become more confident and more principled in defending my boundaries. I have become more purposeful and have stopped frittering myself away on trifles and everyday small stuff. It was hard for me to overcome the sin of judging others and of irritability. Now I watch myself with surprise and notice that in these 2 weeks I have not been quarrelling or shouting, but simply calmly explaining to my family what does not suit me. And I do not feel like judging others at all. I have started laughing and enjoying life more often!
My posture has appeared. I put music on more often, sing and dance. I have started doing breathing exercises in the mornings (and not by forcing myself, but because the desire appeared). I finally went to the shops to buy things for MYSELF. I bought myself a scarf in a shop, simply because I liked it.
I have achieved almost all my goals for the coaching. I have started moving forward actively on my goals for the year and I can already see the future result clearly!
In the family I have stopped quarrelling, I talk to friends more often, I have started asking other people for help more often (before I did everything myself).
Sitting at home on maternity leave with a small child, I have started earning on my own. A separate thank you for the inspiration you and Katerina gave me! The work of a psychotherapist brings me so much joy and inspiration for even greater feats that I want to work and work! :))
Thank you very much for your support! I wish everyone successful self-realisation and joy in God!”
