Vedic femininity – benefit or harm?
Many of you are probably familiar with the ideas of Vedic femininity. At one time I too was struck by the book “Fascinating Womanhood”. It is true that nobody teaches us how the roles of a man and a woman differ, beyond stereotypes such as: a woman means the kitchen, children, laundry and cleaning, and a man means drinking, fishing and work. And it can be very important to realise something deeper. I read a great many articles on the subject of what a “proper” wife should be like. On the one hand they worked, and on the other I felt that I was losing myself. That is what the new episode of the show is about.
