Many people very much wanted and dreamed of getting to the VIP coaching retreat in Gelendzhik, which took place on 6–8 March 2016, but were unable to — the clients that trainer Katerina Lapshina and I work with are in different countries and cities, most of them have small children and getting away to join us is not so easy. And I was asked to be sure to write a report on this event, so that people could take part at least virtually 🙂

And the first miracle that happened was the wonderful warm weather. Both before and immediately after, a cold wind was blowing, but on the very days of the coaching retreat it was warm and sunny with a clear blue sky.

The second miracle was the flowers blooming! It was on exactly those dates that the trees, the magnolias and the woodland flowers began to bloom.

We spent the whole first day of excursions out in nature and visited several of the most beautiful places around the city.

The third miracle was the incredible Gebius waterfalls — we visited 3 large ones, everything just like in a picture!

And the fourth miracle was, of course, the very warm-hearted conversation and the effective techniques that immediately give a stunning result, inspiration and motivation!

We also visited the “Natasha” spring, the dolmens, the complexes of man-made waterfalls, cafés with the most delicious local cuisine, saw sturgeon in the ponds and a camel in the forest — everything like in a fairy tale! Several kilometres of walking trail, now over little bridges, now up a steep slope, now across a mountain stream. A very good place for doing exercises about what our life looks like. What is done in real life stays in the memory for a long time. A client came to us from another country and was simply stunned by one of the waterfalls; she says it is like a picture. Two rainbows can be seen next to it. And our life is like that — to get to something beautiful, you have to overcome your fears and sometimes walk a difficult but interesting trail.
In the forest we also came across an interesting tree with a cleft in the middle — it is called the Wishing Tree. Our client said the trip turned out amazing for her — much of what she had dreamed of came true.

The second day — the coaching day. 

On the second day the main coaching programme ran from morning until evening. One of our students shared that, despite having heard a lot from us about the coaching retreat, she had imagined it quite differently: something like a lecture where everyone sits formally and listens. It all turned out to be far warmer and more comfortable — and more interesting!

There were 3 main blocks — on femininity, on relationships and on money. We also discussed topics such as how to create your own unique image of femininity, the secret of transforming negative thoughts into positive ones, how to start making your dreams come true and to express yourself more brightly. Coaching is not much like a lecture — it is more of a dialogue, exercises that can be done precisely in person, a lot of feedback and motivation for the future. There were many discoveries and insights during the process, and much more will come later.

The third day was a festive one; it continued with a photo session by the sea and a festive dinner in honour of 8 March in one of the best restaurants in the city, in the Knights’ Hall.

We have decided we must repeat the coaching retreat in September 2016; everyone got enormous pleasure and benefit from it, it was very unusual and interesting. We are already accepting applications, so write to inly@list.ru if you already want to secure your place! What will happen in September is a secret; we will make the programme even better, and it is hard to choose where to take our guests, so you still have time to tell us your wishes, including wishes about the coaching programme itself — which topics are relevant and interesting for You! September is a wonderful time, when the sea is still warm but the crowds and the heat are gone, there is plenty of fruit and everything is open!
